How root canal treatment is done
Root canal treatment is required when dental X-rays show that the pulp has been damaged by a bacterial infection. To treat the infection in the root canal, the bacteria are removed and the root canal is filled with a filling or if necessary a crown. Before starting the root canal treatment, you will usually be given a local anesthetic so you will have a painless experience.
